SariLankan Airlines is a government owned airline with a flag carrier and it was founded as Air Ceylon on December 10, 1947; 71 years ago. It has its headquarter at Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka. It has a fleet size of 27 aircrafts with 42 destinations all over the world as well as in the country. Airline commenced its official flight operations in 1998 with limited destinations in Asia and Europe.
